If CART was good, glorious, and grand, why did Honda and Toyota leave
the series?

How come no one ever wants to answer that simple question?

Honda and Toyota could not sell any vehicles to nonexistent fans.

Smoke, for your general knowledge of racing, I'm stunned that you
aren't aware of the year-round benefits of IRL participation. For
example, Camry and Accord registrations in Sparta, Kentucky are up
nearly seven percent.

Camry sales are up everywhere.

If it isn't all ready, Toyota is very close to becoming
number one in car sales in the US.

See Crain's Automotive News for more info.

If Indy the reason, why hesitate? Why didn't they go in 1996, or 1997, or
1998, or 2000, or 2001, or 2002?
